Import products and services from CSV/Excel

Importing products and services into sBizzl is a straightforward process that ensures seamless integration of your product data into the platform. This guide provides a step-by-step overview of how to import products efficiently.

  • Navigate to Products > Products
  • Click on Add > Import Products
  • This interface for importing products and services will be displayed.
  • In the product import modal, you have the option to either download a sample template file or click "Browse" to select the file for import

  • Download sample file: Downloading a sample file for importing product and service data into sBizzl is a simple procedure designed to assist users in comprehending the necessary format and organization for seamless data importation. This sample file acts as a template, guiding how to structure product data before importing it into sBizzl

     (Note: The sample file is available in .csv format for user convenience.)

  • Browse - To initiate the import process, users must first browse to select the file containing the data they wish to import into the system. The system supports two file formats for import: CSV (Comma-Separated Values) and XLSX (Excel Spreadsheet). Users can choose either format based on their preference and the format of the data they intend to import.

     (Note: The number of records in the file should not exceed 3000.)

  • After selecting the import file, click Next to proceed to the data mapping screen.
  • In the Map data screen using the downloaded sample template as a guide, map your existing data fields to the corresponding fields in Sbizzl. Ensure that each piece of information aligns correctly to prevent errors during the import process.
  • After selecting the "Set to All '' option from the dropdown menu, sBizzl offers a convenient feature that allows users to uniformly apply a selected value to all product lines, regardless of the existing values in that column of the import file.
  • This functionality streamlines the data management process by eliminating the need to manually input the same value for each product line. Whether users are setting attributes like category, price, or any other field, they can quickly propagate the chosen value across multiple entries with just one action.
  • Click the "Next" button located at the bottom-right corner to proceed.
  • After mapping, the contents of the imported file are displayed. Any detected errors, such as missing or invalid data, are highlighted with a 🛈 symbol. Users must correct these errors before proceeding.
  • When importing a product, if no status is specified, it will automatically set the status to 'Active' for that product.
  • Once all errors are resolved, users can click the "Confirm and Import" button. import the Product data into its database and redirect users to the Product list screen.
