Credit Memo
The Credit Memo List in sBizzl provides an organized and comprehensive view of all credit memos issued within the organization. This feature helps finance teams manage and track credit adjustments efficiently.
- Navigate to Commerce > Credit Memo.

After clicking on Credit Memo the following list will be displayed:

- Customer: The name of the customer to whom the credit memo is issued.
- Status: The current status of the credit memo (e.g. unapplied, Closed).
- Balance: The remaining balance on the credit memo after partial applications.
- Credit Memo Code: A unique identifier assigned to each credit memo for easy reference.
- Credit Memo Date: The date when the credit memo was created and issued.
- Total Amount: The total amount credited to the customer.
- Memo: Additional notes or description explaining the reason for the credit memo.
- Sent: Indicates whether the credit memo has been sent to the customer.
- Action: This will display the options for users to perform various actions on each Credit Memo, such as editing details, deleting the Customer Return, email, mark as sent, mark as unsent or viewing more information. This column offers flexibility and control over Customer Return management Depending on the permissions and roles, users can access certain action options.
It consists of multiple options that a user can perform which are listed below:
- Edit: Allows authorized users to edit the details of specific credit memo.
- Clone: The clone seamlessly creates new transactions based on the specific transaction. (For example: Click on the Edit option and then select the “Clone” option, to create a copy of an existing transaction of Credit memo.

- Upon selecting "clone," this window will appear.
With just a click on the save button, users can effortlessly duplicate the credit memo entry.
- Delete: Allows users to remove or delete a transaction based on permissions. Click on the edit option and then select the “Delete” option to delete a specific transaction record.
- Or users can remove the credit memo directly from the transaction tab within the Customer details.

- Clicking the delete option, the following window will appear.

- Simply clicking on the delete button will delete the Credit Memo or Clicking on the cancel button or the cross icon “✖” will close the dialog box without deleting the Credit Memo.
- Note: Only users with appropriate permissions are allowed to perform the Credit memo deletion activity.
- Email: Provides a quick way to send the Credit Memo directly to the Customer’s email address by composing a new message. Refer to sending email.

- Mark as Sent: By manually selecting the 'Mark as Sent' option from the dropdown menu in the action column, users can indicate that a Credit Memo has been sent to the vendor. This action adds a tick mark in the 'Sent' column, confirming the successful transmission of the purchase order. Additionally, it triggers a change in the credit Memo status, providing a comprehensive update on communication and order progress.
- Mark as unsent: Manually selecting 'Mark as Unsent' from the dropdown menu in the action column allows users to reverse the status of a credit memo are previously marked as sent. This action removes the tick mark from the 'Sent' column and changes the credit memo status back to draft. It provides users with the flexibility to update and adjust the communication status of credit memo as needed.
Show closed:

A toggle switch labeled 'Show Closed' shows all closed status and unapplied status transactions when activated. As shown below:

Search Functionality
- By incorporating remarkable search functionality within Credit Memo List sBizzl empowers users to quickly find the information they need within your transactions list effortlessly.
- A search bar at the top of the list allows users to type keywords like Customer, Credit memo code, Memo The list should update dynamically, displaying only records that match the search criteria, often with the ability to sort by various criteria.
CSV Export (Export Transactions):

You can export a CSV file of all the transactions at one click.
The CSV export will contain the following transaction details:

- Total Amount
- Memo
- Sent
Customize CSV Export:
sBizzl allows you to choose which columns to include in the CSV export. By column management, you can select specific transaction information like Balance, Total Amount, Memo, sent etc…To export the transactions:
Click on the “CSV” icon in the top right corner just after the search bar.- By clicking on the CSV icon, your export will begin to process. Once the download is complete, the file is saved to the location you specified (e.g., your Downloads folder by default) with the specific file name as per the applied filter.
- For example: If In the filter All is selected, then the CSV file name would be Credit-Memo_All.csv
Sorting:
- Sorting functionality within a transaction list provides a powerful tool for organizing, analyzing, and accessing Credit Memo transaction data.
- Credit Memo Lists typically allow you to sort data by various criteria, often through clickable headers. Sorting options might include: Customer, Status, Balance, Credit Memo code, Credit Memo Date, Total Amount, Sent Users can apply multiple sorting criteria by selecting multiple columns.
Advanced Filters:
- Filters are very powerful flexible tools used to filter data based on criteria.
- To apply advanced filtering, click on the Filter icon shown below:

- After clicking on the Filter icon, the Right panel will open as shown below in the figure:

- Status: This will enable the users to filter transactions based on their specific status, facilitating easier management and tracking of transactions. Transaction statuses may include:
- All: Displays all transactions, regardless of their status.
- Unapplied: An "Unapplied" credit memo means the credit has been granted to the customer but has not been used to offset any charges or invoices.
- Closed: A "Closed" credit memo means the credit has been fully applied to outstanding invoices or customer balances, and there is no remaining credit left.
- Customer: In the customer filter, users can select a customer's name by typing the first three letters of the name, then apply the filter according to their needs.
- The start date and end date fields display the selected date range for the Credit Memo period in the Credit memo list.
- Add: The Add button allows users to save specific filters for future use in the Credit Memo list.
- Apply: The Apply button is used to apply the selected filters and display the relevant results on the list.
